Frequently Asked Questions
When are you open? Sorry but Cotton Cocktails Studio no longer has premises you can visit. We occasionally have a stand at local quilt shows. Please sign up for our newsletter for information.
Do I need a PayPal account to order online? No. You can choose to either pay via Stripe or Paypal with a debit or credit card. If you choose PayPal scroll down the page to see the option to pay by credit or debit card. Payments through both the Stripe and PayPal site are very secure. We do not have access to your card details.
Can I order by phone? No, unfortunately my card reader system does not allow payments over the phone. Please order through the website.
Can I order by email? Please order through the website if at all possible. This helps to keep our stock levels up to date and makes packing orders much quicker and easier. If you have a specific request please email Hazel who may be able to add a Special Order to the website for you.
How much do you charge for postage? Postage is charged according to the value of your order based on Royal Mail First Class post charges. Orders under £9 are £2.10, between £9 and £15 is £3.30 and over £15 is £4.50.
How long will it take to receive my order? Hazel is dispatching orders within 48 hours Monday to Friday. Most orders are sent by First Class Post although if they weigh over 1kg or are of a modest value but measure more than 1" deep (e.g. Aurifil thread) they may be sent second class. Orders mostly made up of clearance or sale items are usually sent second class.
How do I contact you with an enquiry? Please use the Contact Us page on the website or email [email protected] Please be patient: Hazel is not working 24/7 and may take a couple of days to reply to messages!
The item I need is out of stock. When will you have more? It is not always possible to order more of every fabric. Please contact Hazel if you are looking for a particular fabric as she may be able to help you find an alternative supplier.
Can I order 505 spray for posting? Royal Mail prohibit sending aerosol sprays like glue through the post and it is not practical for me to use courier services.
