This pattern is for a simple but effective quilt which combines fused applique and strip pieced nine patch blocks suitable for beginning or experienced quilters.

Finished Size 38” by 53”

Requirements

Background fabric: 1¼yards (1m) of plain or tone on tone white or cream

For the nine patches: Five fat quarters of printed fabrics

For the hearts: One fat quarter of red or pink fabric

Wadding: cotton or cotton/polyester mix at least 45” by 60”

Backing: 1¾ yard (1.5m) fabric

Binding: ½ yard (0.5m) of fabric
